Emergency Medical Technician
EMTs
respond to a variety of incidents including heart attacks, childbirth,
and incidents of violence or accidents. Due to the nature of
emergencies, EMTs work irregular schedules with shifts around the clock.
Phlebotomy
Phlebotomists are responsible for explaining procedures to patients,
updating patient records, sterilizing equipment, and taking vital signs.
Physician Assistant
Physician Assistants work in a variety of healthcare settings including
hospitals, clinics, home health care, and other healthcare facilities.
Sports Medicine
The sports medicine team must communicate with other members, as well as
coaches, school or professional administration, and the athletes and
their families.
Surgical Technologist
Surgical Technologists also operate light, suction machines, and other
diagnostic equipment. After surgery, Surgical Technologists clean and
stock the operating room for further surgical procedures.
