General Surgeon Job Description
A general surgeon works with a variety of instruments with a variety
of patients under many different conditions. Surgeons treat injury,
disease and deformities, repair bone and tissue, perform preventative
surgery for debilitating diseases, while patient is under local or
general anesthesia. Surgeons work in hospitals, government agencies,
schools, private practices, and businesses. Surgeons work closely with
other physicians.
