A Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) is the term used for a person who assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provides basic nursing procedures. CNAs work under the supervision of Registered Nurses or LPNs. A CNA provides bedside care by assisting with ADLs and is trained in a variety of skills, including feeding, dressing, bed making, and many more.
