Medical Sales Representatives are trained to market products to physicians and healthcare providers using specific strategies to sell medical or pharmaceutical products. A medical sales team focuses on a number of factors including size and structure of the sales force, optimization through territory alignment, and call planning. Successfulness of a sales force is constantly monitored to adjust the market message and reach, the frequency and timing of calls and visits, as well as the adjustment of territories in order to increase sales.
